Concept art for a Scooby-Doo Reboot set in the modern day. The setting would be college in a school kind of like UC Berkeley. Shaggy is a freshman with an undecided major. He loves to skate and has lots of anxiety. Scooby-Doo is his therapy dog. Velma is the same age as Shaggy but is so smart that she's actually at this college getting her masters degree.

The assignment was to draw a lineup of 5 anthropomorphic characters.  I decided to draw the cast from Stranger Things as animals. Everyone who lives in town I decided to make dogs while the "outsiders" from California are cats to show how much they stand out. 

The top picture is the final lineup and the bottom picture is the rough sketch.
