I wanted to compare and contrast abstract artwork with meat and the protagonist Noa. The “Fresh” sticker is an actual supermarket sticker scanned into photoshop

The inspiration for this design was found exploring LGBTQ+ history around the “cowboy” era. I wanted to explore that part of history that was erased by the 1950’s macho cowboy films. I achieved this by mixing retro western aesthetics with modern LGBTQ+ ones

I originally sketched this concept out on a kitchen white board. We’ve been having brutal rainstorms in California this winter and I was inspired to combine the weather with what I was cooking (boba) and the iconic Morton Salt girl
